ANNUAL GREAT AMERICAN BOOK SALE

ERIE, PA – Erie's most popular Annual Event – The Great American Book Sale, returns on Sunday, June 11 at the Flo Fabrizio Ice Rink at the Erie Zoo, 527 W.38th St., Erie, PA 16509.

The sale runs from Sunday, June 11, through Friday, June 16. With over 75,000 books, audio books on CD, music CDs, and DVDs, there is something for everyone. Books available include recent fiction, including science fiction, mysteries, and home and crafts, and a greatly expanded children's book section. Sports, travel, religion, self-help and history are well-represented as well.

First days’ book prices will be $2 for hardcovers and large-size paperbacks, and $1 for regular paperbacks. Children's book prices will be the same as previous years.

Also on sale will be a selection of specially-priced high quality collectible books including very attractive coffee table books, Erie history titles, and nearly-new gardening and cookbooks.

Hours are:June 11 – 15 from 10AM to 8PMJune 16 from 10AM to 3PM (Bag day)

Come early to purchase the best selection and return often during the week to discover even more hidden treasures!

Brought to the community with the sponsorship of the Erie Community Foundation, the Erie County Community College, Erie Insurance and Plastek!

Ample parking is free. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Erie County Public Library, especially children's summer reading programs, computer classes and the adult speaker series.
